Job Summary:

As an Account Manager at CAP Insurance Group, you will be responsible for managing and servicing insurance policies, assisting clients with their inquiries, and ensuring smooth operation of policy administration processes. Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Policy Administration: Manage the administration of insurance policies including processing updates, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in policy documentation.
  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and guiding clients through policy-related processes. Act as a point of contact for policyholders needing assistance.
  • Claims Assistance: Support clients with the claims process by collecting necessary documentation, coordinating with adjusters, and tracking claim progress to ensure timely resolution.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update client records in the company’s database, ensuring all information is accurate and confidential. Prepare reports and perform audits to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with clients, insurance agents, and internal departments to facilitate policy servicing and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Compliance: Adhere to industry regulations, company policies, and legal requirements in all aspects of policy servicing and client interactions.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative tasks related to insurance policy management and office operations.
  • Collaboration: Assist sales agents with tasks needed to service their book of business

Skills & Abilities:

  • Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
  • Providing information to supervisors and co-workers by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
  • Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
  • Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data.
  • Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic/magnetic form.
  • Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to enter data and process information.
  • Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
  • Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, and other external sources.
  • Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
